• A vacuum gauge measures suction in water lift inches. 
• Simply place the round rubber end of the gauge onto the intake of the power unit, an inlet valve or open pipe end to determine sealed suction. 
• To measure working suction, use a in conjunction with the vacuum gauge (part#1247)
